Daily Acca Tips: Barcelona, Zwolle and Doncaster Rovers all feature

| 17.04.2018

There’s a host of football today, with action across the English game – and a few continental crackers.

The Coral News Team have scoured the stats and pored over the form-book to bring you their tips for the day’s action, starting with a La Liga clash…

Barcelona – 7/10

With their Champions League dream over, Barca’s focus returns to wrapping up the La Liga title. And having won 25 and drawn seven of their 32 league games this term, they’re unlikely to slip up at Celta Vigo on Tuesday.

The visitors are looking for a 13th away win in 18 La Liga trips, while their hosts are in indifferent form. Celta have won one of their last five, and suffered defeat at 13th-placed Leganes last time out.

Doncaster Rovers – 8/15

Bury became the first side to suffer relegation in all four divisions of the Football League. And the beleaguered Shakers are likely to endure another difficult evening at in-form Doncaster.

Rovers have taken 10 points from their last four games, including victory at Blackpool. By contrast, Bury are facing the prospect of an eighth successive defeat on Tuesday night. Factor in Donny’s victory at Gigg Lane in October, and this should be a comfortable home win.

PEC Zwolle – 15/8

Tuesday sees Zwolle continue their push for European football next term. But their hosts FC Twente are facing a very different fate, with relegation on the cards.

Twente haven’t won a league game since mid-December, and have picked up a dismal four points in their last 12 matches.

Visiting Zwolle breezed to a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture, and have already pulled off away wins at the likes of Excelsior and Heerenveen this term.

Exeter City – Evens

There’s plenty on the line for both sides as the Grecians host bottom club Chesterfield on Tuesday night. Paul Tisdale’s men still have an outside chance of automatic promotion from League Two, and have won four of their last six games.

By contrast, the visiting Spireites are in dire straits. They’ve taken a single point from the last four games, and have lost 13 of their 20 away games. It’s hard to see past three points for the home side at St James’ Park.

Barrow – 10/11

While both sides currently sit in the National League’s bottom four, there’s a pretty sizeable gulf between Guiseley and Barrow.

The former are all-but-confirmed for relegation, while the 21st placed Bluebirds have games in hand on the sides around them, and are just a point from safety.

Barrow also have form on their side, with seven points from their last five away games ahead of this trip. By contrast, Guiseley have won one of their last 13 at home – losing four of the last seven.
