Waterlogged track scuppers Chris Hughes’ Wincanton ride-out

| 12.04.2018

Coral #LoveRacing ambassador Chris Hughes was supposed to ride out at Wincanton racecourse but with the wet  weather waterlogging the gallops, he went back to Jackdaws Castle.

This week it got serious, with Chris riding out on two horses in a bid to get race-fit – see our film here:

Chris Hughes says: “I was riding out on two horses today and it proved quite lively. I’ll be away next week, but I’ll be back with an even better tan and ready to get down to the serious business of building up my fitness and riding experience.”

Coral PR Director Simon Clare says: “It’s important that Chris ups his fitness training over the next few months, so he really mixed it up this week.  It will really help as he prepares for the race at York.”
