Latest odds and betting for the Champions League

After Liverpool’s miraculous comeback at Anfield in their Champions League semi-final against Barcelona last night, our traders reveal that over 300 bets were placed on a 4-0 Liverpool win.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were 50/1 to win the match 4-0 prior to kick-off, with only a 5-1 score being priced at higher odds.

The Red’s have now cemented themselves as odds-on favourites to claim their sixth Champions League trophy in Madrid in June at 4/9. Ahead of the other semi-final second leg, Ajax are second-favourites at 11/4 and Tottenham come in at 8/1.

“Although Liverpool’s hopes looked slim heading into their second leg of their semi-final tie with Barcelona, remarkably, over 300 customers with Coral backed them to win by a 4-0 scoreline,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“There was only one scoreline in our correct-score book which carried a bigger liability and that was 5-1 in favour of Liverpool. We have to tip our hats off to the successful punters who showed fantastic foresight to pick out the successful correct score,” added Hill.

“Liverpool are now odds-on to lift the trophy in Madrid and they will start as the favourites regardless of who their opposition will be on June 1,” concluded Hill.
