Odds and preview for this weekend’s fixtures
It’s match week seven of this season’s Belarusian Premier League, with another eight fixtures across the weekend.
With matches scheduled to take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we’ve looked at the fixture list ahead of kick-off.
We’ve got one game on offer on Friday afternoon to start the weekend’s proceedings, as relegation battlers FC Smolevichy-STI host mid-table Zvezda-Va-Bgu Minsk from 14:00.
Minsk take on Torpedo-Belaz in Saturday’s first fixture from 12:00, with the away side hoping to end their blip of two matches without a win. The home team ended their run of three straight defeats with a win last time out, and are slight favourites at 3/2 to win, with Torpedo-Belaz 9/5 to win.
In the day’s final match, league leaders Slutskakhar Slutsk travel to Dinamo Minsk in the pick of the bunch. Dinamo come in as 8/13 favourites to upset the league leaders, with Slutsk 4/1 to win their fifth match from seven.
To round off the weekend, we’ll have four fixtures starting with an important clash at the foot of the table. Belshina Bobruisk sit bottom with two points so far, but a win against 14th place Dinamo Brest could kick-start their season. The home side are 19/4 underdogs, with Dinamo Brest odds-on at 4/7.
Vitebsk are 27/20 to beat strugglers Slavia Mozyr, though they’re only 2/1 in what could be a tight affair. BATE Borisov are heavy 4/11 favourites to get the better of Neman Grodno. The away side are 15/2 for three points.
