Bet of the day: Higuain to score and Napoli beat Fiorentina

Holly Thackeray | February 29, 2016

  • Napoli have won four of their last five Serie A away games
  • Sarri’s men have been defeated just three times in the league
  • The Little Donkeys have beaten Viola in five of their last six scuffles
  • Top Serie A scorer Higuain fired past Fiorentina in the reverse

Higuain to score and Napoli beat Fiorentina

Coral are feeling a little continental, following another great weekend of sport, so our latest bet of the day takes customers to the rolling hills of Tuscany, where Fiorentina host Napoli in Serie A.

Both of these teams emerged as stupendous surprise packages this season but, so far, only Napoli have kept up to the Scudetto-chasing pace, largely thanks to the goal heroics of Gonzalo Higuain.

To stay hot on Juventus’ heels, the Naples club need to win, so back them at an enhanced match special 3/1 price to sink Viola and Higuain to score (max stake £20).

Higuain on goal hunt

Currently leading scorer in Serie A, the Little Donkeys’ dangerman Higuain has proven a potent force on the road.

Away from the home comforts of the Stadio San Paolo, Higuain has hit nine goals across his last seven league away ventures. Lethal.

Higuain has a tremendous tally of 24 goals in Serie A, almost double the haul of closest competitor Carlos Bacca from AC Milan, who sits a distant second on 13.

Italy Soccer Serie A

To boot, the Campania club’s star Argentine has also found the net versus Viola before, having hit the winner earlier this term and also at the Stadio Artemi Franchi in this fixture last campaign.

Fiorentina hold no fear for Napoli

A trip to Tuscany should not faze the Little Donkeys, as Maurizio Sarri’s guys have a great recent record on their league travels, winning four of their last five away days.

With just three Serie A losses to their name so far this season, the team from Naples should be confident of claiming three points from this tussle, especially as they have defeated Fiorentina five times from their past six frays in all competitions.

With this in mind, that 3/1 (max stake £20) price looks fabulous for Higuain to hit the net and Napoli to achieve victory against Viola.
