Odds and previews ahead of tonight’s biggest Europa League games

Arsenal and Leicester both have a golden opportunity to make the top spot in their respective groups their own, as they take on the second-placed sides, while Tottenham will be seeking three points against a Ludogorets team who are yet to win.

Both Scottish sides are also in action, as Rangers tussle for the Group D top-spot with Benfica, while Celtic will see tonight’s tie against Sparta Prague as a must-win game.

Read on for our in-depth Europa League Betting Preview of tonight’s biggest games…

Ludogorets v Tottenham

Bulgarian side Ludogorets are the only team in Group J without a point to their name, although they can perhaps count themselves unfortunate on that front. Both their previous games have seen them fall to narrow defeats, including a 4-3 loss to LASK, where Dutch winger Elvis Manu netted a hattrick as they looked for a late comeback that wasn’t to be.

Tottenham fell to a disappointing defeat to Royal Antwerp in their last Europa League outing after winning their opener and will be looking for a professional performance tonight. It’s likely Mourinho will rotate his squad – with Gareth Bale likely to be given minutes as he looks for match fitness.

Home side Ludogorets are 11/1 to win, with 24/5 about the draw, with Tottenham at 1/4 to win.

After scoring the winner against Brighton on Sunday, Bale is 16/5 to open the scoring, or Evens to score anytime tonight.

Hattrick scorer Elvis Manu is at 4/1 to score for Ludogorets.

Arsenal v Molde

Arsenal and Molde both have perfect records so far in the Europa League having both downed Rapid Wien and Dundalk.

While Molde are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions, Arsenal will be riding on a high after winning at Old Trafford on the weekend.

Like all English sides in the competition, Mikel Arteta is set to ring the changes thanks to a gruelling schedule and could make 11 changes to the team that started against Man Utd, with David Luiz and Eddie Nketiah among those expected to start.

Arsenal are 3/10 to grab a win and all but secure qualification, with the draw at 9/2 and a Molde win at 9/1.

Nketiah is 13/5 to open the scoring tonight or 8/11 to score anytime. Molde’s Ohi Omoijuanfo has scored twice so far in the competition and can be backed at 10/3 to add to that tally.

Leicester City v Braga

Another battle of two table-topping sides, the Foxes will be looking to make it three wins in three when they take on the Primeira Liga’s third-placed team from last season.

Like Arsenal, Leicester are coming off the back of an impressive three points, after beating Leeds 4-1 on Monday. With just a few days to rest, Brendan Rogers is likely to field a very different side tonight, with Kelechi Iheanacho likely to be given the nod up front ahead of Jamie Vardy.

Leicester are 3/5 to win, with the draw at 3/1 and a Braga win at 9/2.

In the goalscorer markets, Iheanacho is 14/5 to open the scoring, or 10/11 to net anytime.

For Braga, Paulinho and Ricardo Horta look the most likely scorers, with both priced at 12/5 to find the net anytime tonight.

Benfica v Rangers

Rangers are on an unbelievable run under Steven Gerrard, with the former Liverpool man guiding his team to nine consecutive wins in all competitions. They find themselves riding high in the Scottish Premiership and are well positioned to progress in the Europa League, tied at the top of their group with tonight’s opponents.

While Benfica are veterans of European competition, they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Boavista in their last league game and Rangers could look to that game as a blueprint for success tonight – Boavista recorded just 30% possession in victory over Benfica.

Benfica are 23/20 to win tonight, with the draw at 12/5 and a Rangers win at 23/10.

Alfredo Morelos perhaps holds Rangers’ biggest goal threat and is 2/1 to score anytime tonight, while skipper and penalty-take James Tavernier is 4/1 to continue his impressive scoring record from wide.

Celtic v Sparta Prague

The Scottish Champions have struggled to match Rangers’ pace in the Scottish Premiership so far this season and have only managed one point in their opening two Europa League matches. But tonight provides them with the perfect opportunity to make up ground.

Their opposition are currently only able to play in Europa League games on special dispensation, after the Czech League was put on hold over a month ago due to Covid-19. That means Sparta are likely to be short on match fitness and momentum, compounded by losses to both AC Milan and Lille in the Europa League so far.

As a result, Celtic are heavy favourites to win tonight at 4/9, with the draw at 18/5 and a Sparta Prague win at 13/2.

Celtic forwards Albian Ajeti and Odsonne Edouard are both at 10/3 to score first tonight, with a goal anytime at 21/20. Sparta Prague will be looking to Lukas Julis to provide the firepower and he’s at 11/4 to find the net tonight.
