K League Preview: Can Jeonbuk maintain their 100% record?

Odds and preview ahead of this weekend’s fixtures

As we move into the third week of fixtures, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are looking to make it three wins in three.

With six fixtures running from Friday to Sunday, can the champions continue their good form on Sunday, or can the likes of the Pohang Steelers pile on the pressure with earlier wins?

Friday

The first game of the weekend sees third-placed Pohan Steelers take on FC Seoul on Friday at 11:30. Pohang are 23/20 to win, with sixth-placed FC Seoul at 12/5. Victory would send Pohang top, putting pressure on Jeonbuk and Ulsan Hyundai, with both teams boasting a perfect record so far.

Saturday

The tightest of Saturday’s three games sees Gangwon take on Seongnam, the teams in fifth and fourth respectively. Both sides won last time out and will be looking to build some momentum here with another three points. Gangwon are slight favourites at 21/20, while Seongnam can be backed at 11/4.

The rest of the day’s fixtures include Daegu v Sangju Sangmu and Busan v Suwon Bluewings

Sunday

Both games on Sunday feature a team who have won their first two, with reigning champions Jeonbuk 7/10 to win in their match against Daegu, who can be backed at 4/1.

The final game of the weekend sees current leaders (by virtue of their goal difference) Ulsan Hyundai as 1/2 favourites when they play  Busan I Park who are out at 5/1.
