Players’ next club after January transfer window Coral specials
Matt Haynes | January 5, 2016
It is that time of the year again, one that typically causes clubs the most headaches as they brace themselves for bids on their best players, or search in vain for that one recruit who could make all the difference.
As a result, Coral have a number of players’ next club specials by the end of the January transfer window, with a whole host of individuals attracting attention of Premier League clubs to aid the rest of their campaign.
It is no secret that the Eagles need a striker and the QPR frontman was linked in the summer. At 9/4 with Coral to be a Palace player by the end of January, this could well be worth a punt.
Another possibly viable destination, the Cherries are struggling without top striker Callum Wilson, so a move to the south coast might make sense. At 14/1, these odds could well reduce in the coming weeks if speculation grows.
It is no secret that the winger is surplus to requirements at Tottenham and the Hornets are an ambitious club. At 2/1 to join the Hertfordshire side, this could well be a realistic possibility.
Sam Allardyce has a job to do in January in order to ensure that the Black Cats stay in the Premier League. Townsend would certainly give the Wearside outfit an edge and at 5/1 to join, this could well happen.
At 3/1 to join the Eagles, the attacking midfielder has been linked with a move away from the struggling Swans recently and this is a move which could make sense to give Yohan Cabaye a hand.
The Magpies are 8/1 to sign the former Liverpool player and are likely to recruit in January with the club needing to move up the league as soon as possible.
There could well be some money to be made on this. Arsenal are 2/1 to keep hold of their right back, despite strong links to West Bromwich Albion.
The Gunners have a very realistic chance of winning the Premier League and Hector Bellerin won’t play in every match, so it is unlikely Debuchy will agree to a move, while Arsene Wenger values all of his players.
The only other genuinely credible possibility on our list is for him to make a tax-free move to Monaco at 18/1 though, again, with Arsenal competing on three fronts a switch there at this stage is a non-starter.
Anyone fancying a gamble, may take a 3/1 chance on Borussia Dortmund’s highly-rated striker joining the Gunners to boost their Champions League campaign.
It is no secret that the club need a striker, though at 16/1 to join the Red Devils this is as outside a bet as you could possibly imagine.
