Our guide to this week’s highlights

We’ve got another big week of sport on the way, with lots of football, racing, cricket and more to look forward to.

We’ve looked over the fixture lists and race cards to pick out the very best of the action for you…

There’s a packed fixture list this week, as Arsenal face Newcastle tonight, with more Premier League and EFL games in midweek.

It’s the FA Cup fourth round this weekend, with Man Utd v Liverpool arguably the pick of the bunch.

There are also plenty of games taking place around Europe, including La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga.

It’s another busy week of racing, starting with cards at Ayr, Lingfield, Wolverhampton and Punchestown today. Looking further ahead, Ascot hosts the Grade 1 Clarence House Chase on Saturday.

There’s also lots of international racing to enjoy, including action from France, USA, South Africa, Australia and more.

Cricket

England sealed up a win in their first Test against Sri Lanka this morning, with the second Test starting in the early hours on Friday. England are 10/11 favourites to win again.

We’ve also got games from the Big Bash League in Australia to enjoy throughout the week.

Snooker

The Masters may only have finished yesterday, but the inaugural WST Pro Series gets underway in Milton Keynes today. Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump and Mark Selby are among the 128 players in the draw, though Stephen Hendry has withdrawn.

The tournament features 16 round-robin groups of eight. Eight first-stage groups will play this week, with the remaining eight playing in March.

The PGA Tour heads to La Quinta, California on Thursday for the American Express, with Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed among a strong field.

Also on Thursday, the European Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship tees off. Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas are two of the leading contenders to triumph at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

NBA

We’ve got more from the NBA coming up throughout the week, including five games to come on Monday, starting with New York Knicks v Orlando Magic at 17:00.
