Latest odds and betting for the 2000 Guineas
Magna Grecia is the standalone favourite to run to a win in the 2000 Guineas on Saturday, according to our traders.
The three-year-old colt is the 7/2 favourite to claim victory at Newmarket Racecourse, with his Ballydoyle stablemate Ten Sovereigns seeing his odds eased to 9/2 from 10/3.
Madhmoon and Skardu come in as joint third-favourites at 7/1, with supplementary entry Al Hilalee being quoted as 14/1 to cause a shock on the course.
The Martyn Meade-trained Advertise comes in as an 8/1 outsider to pick up the victory.
“Ten Sovereigns had headed the 2,000 Guineas betting since long time favourite Too Darn Hot was ruled out of the race, but he’s been easy to back in recent days, and as a result his stablemate Magna Grecia is now the clear market leader for the season’s opening Classic, although that could change again depending on which horse Ryan Moore is on board on Saturday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
