Failing that, there’s the small matter of the Hong Kong FA Cup semi-final between Eastern Salon and Sun Pegasus at 06:30. The home side are 1/2 favourites to make the final.

There’s action from Thurles, the only Irish meet on Saturday, with seven races on the card getting underway at 13:40, live on ITV4.

It’s not the only racing from across the globe, with plenty of international meetings on offer. There’s racing from South Africa, coming from Turffontein and Durbanville.

Not what you’re looking for? We’ve got racing from the USA too with seven race meets throughout the day. There’s action from the likes of Charles Town, Gulfstream, Tampa Bay Down, Golden Gate Fields and more.

There’s also action from Down Under too, with plenty of meets across Australia. There are 12 in total, starting early morning in Avoca, with Ascot AU holding the last race of the day at 09:50.
