What’s going on in the world of sport this Saturday?
We’ve cast our eye over Saturday’s sporting action, including football, international horse racing, rugby league and more.
Here’s the round-up for Saturday 21st March.
With the Australian A-League back in full swing, it’s the Western Sydney Wanderers v Sydney FC which is our feature fixture. It’s the away side who are even money favourites, with the Wanderers 9/4 to bag three points.
The Australian W-League continues too, with Melbourne City Women 1/5 favourites to beat Sydney FC Women.
Elsewhere, the action still continues in Belarus as the Vysshaya League has a further two fixtures. Vitebsk take on Gorodeya from 11:00, with the home side 23/20 to win. Isloch host Neman Grodno at 13:00, where the home side are odds-on 10/11 favourites.
If that doesn’t take your fancy, then why not check out the Palestinian West Bank Premier League, Burundi Premier League or Aruban Division DI Honor?
Failing that, there’s the small matter of the Hong Kong FA Cup semi-final between Eastern Salon and Sun Pegasus at 06:30. The home side are 1/2 favourites to make the final.
There’s action from Thurles, the only Irish meet on Saturday, with seven races on the card getting underway at 13:40, live on ITV4.
It’s not the only racing from across the globe, with plenty of international meetings on offer. There’s racing from South Africa, coming from Turffontein and Durbanville.
Not what you’re looking for? We’ve got racing from the USA too with seven race meets throughout the day. There’s action from the likes of Charles Town, Gulfstream, Tampa Bay Down, Golden Gate Fields and more.
There’s also action from Down Under too, with plenty of meets across Australia. There are 12 in total, starting early morning in Avoca, with Ascot AU holding the last race of the day at 09:50.
We’re back with a further 11 greyhound meetings across the UK and Ireland on Saturday, coming from the likes of Crayford, Hove and Romford.
The action starts on the Harlow track at 08:12, with races taking place throughout the day before the final race gets started at 22:35 from Crayford.
The action from the world of elite gaming still continues too. It sees six further League of Legends Championships take place, including the European, Pacific, Brazilian, Pro League Series and more.
The Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournaments are still taking place too, with action from the ESL ESEA Pro League and Flashpoint.
We’re also covering the North American Rocket League Championship, as well action from StarCraft II with the AfreecaTV GSL Super Tournament.
If none of that takes your fancy, there’s some Dota 2 tournaments too, with WeSave! Charity Play action getting underway from 12:00.
There may not be much action, but the Hapur Premier League is still up and running, with two t20 games to look forward to.
Razees Yodhas are odds-on 1/2 favourites to win in this short format early morning match, but The Rising Stars Hapur aren’t too far out to win at 3/2.
Elsewhere, Hapur Police Yodhas take on Arora Aces at 08:00. It’s the Police Yodhas who are 2/7 favourites here, with theAces out at 9/4.
We’ve got three more Rugby League matches from Australia, starting with the NZ Warriors v Canberra Raiders at 04:00. The Raiders are odds-on to win at 1/4, with the Warriors a 3/1 shot.
From 06:30, the Sydney Roosters take on Manly. It’s the Roosters who are 1/2 to win, with Manly out at 7/4. Our final game takes place between Cronulla and Melbourne Storm at 08:35. The Storm are 1/2 favourites, with Cronulla 7/4 to win at home.
The latest Aussie Rules season continues too, with live action from four games starting at 03:10 when the Essendon Bombers take on the Fremantle Dockers. We’ve got the Bombers at 1/2 to win, with the Dockers outsiders at 17/10.
At 06:05, it’s time for the Adelaide Crows v Sydney Swans in what looks to be the closest match up of the day. The Crows are favourites at 4/6, but the Swans are a 6/5 shot to win.
We round off the day’s Aussie Rules action with two games at 08:40, where the Gold Coast Suns take on Port Adelaide Power, and Greater Western Sydney Giants play Geelong Cats.
The Suns are 8/5 underdogs to win their game, with Power 1/2 favourites. In the other game, the Giants are 8/15 home favourites too, with Geelong out at 6/4.
