Darts Trader’s Tips: PDC Home Tour – Wednesday 6th May
Odds and preview for tonight’s matches
Another day, another thrilling set of games in the PDC Home Tour.
We’ve reached Group 20 of the competition and tonight Joe Cullen, Jermaine Wattimena, Ryan Murray and John Michael go head-to-head.
The action gets underway at 19:30 and our trader Denis Yousuf has previewed the key clashes.
The shortest price of the night is Wattimena at 4/11 to overcome 2/1 opponent Michael in what should be a one-sided match based on the 65 places separating them in the world rankings.
Wattimena is also Evens to win and have the highest checkout.
The two outsiders of the group face off in what should be a tight game, with Murray the slight favourite at 8/11.
Michael is a bigger scorer and he’s priced at Evens, although he often has trouble with his doubles. Despite this, he has a higher rating for 180s and Michael to win and get the most 180s is going at 9/4.
The group’s two heavyweights meet at 21:00, with Cullen edging the pre-match betting at 8/11. Wattimena is currently Evens in what could be a match to decide who progresses.
Cullen has the advantage of throwing first and he has a higher scoring power so he’s priced at 10/3 to be King of the Oche, which requires him to win the match, get the most 180s and the highest checkout.
