Darts Trader’s Tips: PDC Home Tour – Thursday 23rd April
Our expert Robert Winn looks ahead to day seven’s matches
We’ve reached day seven of the PDC Home Tour and we’ve got a very competitive looking line-up for tonight’s matches.
We start with a former World Championship semi-finalist in Dutchman Jelle Klaasen, where he’s up against German giant Gabriel Clemens, Suffolk youngster Ryan Meikle and Derry’s Gavin Carlin.
There are six more matches scheduled to take place tonight, starting at 19:30. Before the first arrow is thrown, our trader looks over the action and gives us his tips…
The first matchup of the evening provides us with an enticing encounter, with Ipswich barber Ryan Meikle looking to cut group favourite Gabriel Clemens down to size.
Clemens is the 4/9 favourite to scrape home with an opening win, but Meikle on the +1.5 legs handicap at 5/6 could appeal to the crowds in this one.
Dutchman Jelle Klaasen and German Gabriel Clemens come back for their matches of the evening in this tie, in an encounter which could be the match of the night.
Klaasen heads to the oche as the 13/10 underdog against the former German Masters finalist Clemens, who’s the 4/7 favourite.
The match could go down to the wire, with over 7.5 legs odds-on priced up at 8/11 here.
Klaasen and Meikle head back to the oche for their final ties of the night, but this time, it’s the Dutchman who comes in as the favourite with a fair price of 4/7.
He’ll be looking to get on top eventually in this battle, with a 5-3 win priced up at 11/2 looking interesting in the correct score market.
