Odds and preview for the Week 5 action
We’re set for another evening of thrilling arrows tonight as Premier League Darts heads south to Exeter.
Peter Wright is looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat but he faces a tough test against Nathan Aspinall.
Meanwhile, Gerwyn Price is aiming to continue his undefeated streak as he goes toe-to-toe with Glen Durrant.
Tonight’s schedule also includes Michael Smith taking on table-topper Michael van Gerwen and we’ve got all the key odds ahead of the action…
Nathan Aspinall v Peter Wright
Aspinall is flying high in the table, level on points with leader Van Gerwen after beating Durrant in Dublin last week.
The 28-year-old is 15/8 to record his fourth win of the season but despite Wright winning just once so far, our traders have him slight favourite at 11/10.
Wright hasn’t quite found his rhythm this year and he was thrashed 7-1 by Gerwyn Price last week but things could change tonight and he’s going at 2/1 to win and have the most 180s.
Gerwyn Price v Glen Durrant
Price opened the season with three consecutive draws but he finally got off the mark last week with a convincing win over Wright.
Our traders have the Welshman priced at 4/5 and he’s the clear favourite, with Durrant going at 12/5 despite being level on points with tonight’s opponent.
With our odds predicting Price to stroll to victory, he’s priced at 6/5 with a -2.5 Handicap.
Michael Smith v Michael van Gerwen
Smith is the man to beat after hitting a nine-dart finish in last week’s 7-5 win over Daryl Gurney.
But he comes up against Van Gerwen, who is expected to record his fourth win of the season at 4/7.
Smith is priced at 10/3, while you can get him to hit the highest checkout and lose the game at 3/1.
