Tyson Fury clear favourite to win Deontay Wilder rematch

The heavyweight pair are set to clash for a third time this year
Tyson Fury’s second rematch with Deontay Wilder has been delayed due to coronavirus – but the Gypsy King is the favourite to come out on top when they do eventually meet.
Following a controversial draw in December 2018, they met again in Las Vegas last month and Fury delivered a masterclass as he stopped his American opponent in the seventh round.
Despite hopes of an all-British fight with Anthony Joshua, Fury is set to complete the trilogy after Wilder activated a rematch clause in the hope of reclaiming his heavyweight titles.
Hopes of a July fight have been dashed due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the clash expected to take place in October.
And while Wilder will be confident of stopping Fury at the third attempt, the odds are not in his favour.
“Fury was so impressive in his stoppage of Wilder when the pair last met that it is impossible to price it up any other way than having the Gypsy King as the odds-on favourite,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
“He’s just 2-7 to win the third bout and end the argument once and for all.”
